Description
|
Job Title: Engineer, Technology Support
Responsible
for remote monitoring and control of the global fleet of Energy Servers
from the Remote Monitoring and Command Center in India
Responsibilities:
-
Remote Monitoring and Control of the deployed fleet
-
Work in 6 to 8-hour shifts - either during the day or night
-
Support Field Service Engineers during commissioning and testing of new systems
-
Provide support for the installed systems and escalate as needed
-
Prepare trend charts and participate in analysis
-
Perform in-process inspection of data and notify the global team of anomalies
-
Escalate solutions to known system failure modes
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor
degree in one of the following fields: Chemical, Mechanical,
Instrumentation, Materials, Energy Systems Engineering; Master is a plus
-
0-2 years in the above mentioned field
-
Basic understanding of working safely with fuels (methane, propane, etc.) and high temperature applications
-
Knowledge of DCS / SCADA environment
-
Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, valves and valve operation
-
Experience in basic IT Software requirement/installation (Windows OS, MS-Office)
-
Excellent
communication skills - must be a highly effective communicator at all
levels (phone, written & verbal) - team members work closely with
the US team and engineering
-
Technical knowledge in electrochemistry or Fuel cell operation (preferred but not essential)
-
Knowledge of modeling software (preferred but not essential) and the desire to develop artificial intelligence
