WBJEE 2013 is the Entrance Test for admission to different degree level
Engineering & Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Pharmacy/ Agricultural
Engineering etc as well as degree level Medical/ Dental course in Universities/ University Departments/ Government colleges as well as Self Financing Colleges of the State of West Bengal.
Expected Date of Examination : 21st April 2013
Examination Centress: To be located in West Bengal and Tripura.
Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/PC candidates are as per State Govt. Rules.
Expected Question Pattern : In each subject all questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ-type, with four options including single correct answers). In MCQ type, for each incorrect response, 33.33% of marks will be deducted and more than one answer indicated against one question will be treated as incorrect response/ answer.
Age Restriction : Candidates must be 17 (seventeen) years of age or above on 31.12.2014. There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering Course for which upper age limit is 25 years as 31.07.2014.
Allotment of Examination Centre:
A candidate will be allotted an Examination Centre near his/her school/college (as declared in the Application Form) from which he/she passed/appeared/will appear in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
A candidate wishing to appear from an examination centre near to his/her residential address should apply to the Registrar, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board within 31st January 2012, clearly stating the reason(s) for the same.
The application can be: Mailed to the Registrar, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, through speed post only. The mailing address is:
AQ-13/1, Sector V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700091.
Sent to the following mailbox: wbjeeb@gmail.com
The decision of the Board in the allotment process shall be the final. The centre allotted will be printed on the admit card issued to the candidate.
