Pay Scale
|
PAY SCALE Rs. 15,600-39,100 PB-3 Rs. 5400/- Grade Pay plus NPA as admissible.
Total emoluments excluding T.A. HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.34,650/-p.m. approximately

Age
|
Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date . Not
exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes candidates and
not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates in respect
of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed
Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per
instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age

Essential Qualificaiton (s)
|
i A recognised Medical Qualification included in the Ist or IInd
Schedule of Part II of the III Schedule other than licenciate
qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 Holders of
Educational qualification included in the part IInd of the Third
Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in section133of
the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
ii Completion of compulsory rotating Internship.
Note - The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidate otherwise well qualified.

ii Diploma in Social Work/Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/Personnel
Management/Labour Law from a recognized University/Institution or

Duty(ies)
|
The CLS Officers discharge statutory functions in the Central
Sphere under various Labour Enactments. Their main function includes
prevention and settlement of Industrial disputes, enforcement of various
Labour Laws and to establish harmonious relation between workers and
management. These Officers are notified as Inspectors, Conciliation
Officers and Appellate Authorities under the various Acts.

|
